Located in Akalipur near Nalhati, the temple was established in 1775 by Maharaja Nandakumar. The Goddess is popularly known as Akali Kali, deriving her name from the locality. Daily worship is offered throughout the year, and devotees visit from distant places seeking the fulfilment of their wishes. According to local tradition, Maa Guhya Kali performs her divine nocturnal pastime on Kali Puja night; therefore, no special Kali Puja is conducted on that occasion. Major celebrations take place on the Chaturdashi following Durga Puja, Poush Sankranti, and Ratananti Kali Puja in the month of Magh, when thousands of devotees gather to seek the blessings of the Goddess.
Protection from Hidden Enemies: Due to the Raja Nandakumar legend, devotees often come here to seek protection from hidden enemies and victory in legal battles.
Fertility and Childbirth: Locals strongly believe that the goddess bestows the boon of fertility and blesses people with healthy children.
