Viswakarma Puja Kit

Viswakarma Puja is performed to seek the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma for success, prosperity, and protection in work and business. It removes obstacles and brings growth, productivity, harmony, and good fortune into life.

  • Lord Viswakarma is the divine architect of the universe, the chief engineer of the gods, and the ultimate creator of all machinery, weapons, and palaces. Viswakarma Puja is profoundly significant for engineers, artisans, mechanics, factory workers, and builders. By worshipping Him alongside one's tools and machinery, devotees ensure the smooth functioning of their equipment, seek protection from industrial accidents, and invite immense success, innovation, and prosperity into their trades and businesses.
  • Viswakarma Puja is predominantly celebrated on Kanya Sankranti, marking the sun's migration into the Virgo constellation.
  • • Annually during the grand Viswakarma Jayanti festival.
  • • Before opening a new factory, workshop, or industrial plant.
  • • When purchasing new heavy machinery, commercial vehicles, or technical tools.
  • • By artisans and craftsmen seeking divine inspiration and safety in their daily labor.
  • Step 1 (Preparation): Deeply clean your workshop, machinery, and tools. Set up an Puja Place with a picture of Lord Viswakarma and place your primary tools before Him. Prepare a Diya using Cow Ghee and place it on His right side.
  • Step 2 (Purification): Sprinkle Ganga Jal over the Puja Place and your machinery to purify the workspace.
  • Step 3 (Adornment): Apply a tilak of Ashtagandha, Khukumoni Sindur, and White Chandan to the Lord and to your tools. Tie the Raksha Sutra around your main instruments as a protective shield.
  • Step 4 (Offerings): Offer the Akshat Rice, Paddy (Dhan), and Abir to the deity and the tools, honoring them as extensions of divine creation.
  • Step 5 (Aarti): Light the Natural & Pure Camphor and the Agarbatti. Perform a heartfelt Aarti, praying for safety and success in your work.
  • Step 1 (Purification): The priest cleanses the factory/workspace using Kusha Grass and water, followed by advanced elemental purification (Bhuta-shuddhi).
  • Step 2 (The Eastern Ghot Sthapana): Using the strict orthodox Bengali method, the priest will establish the Holy Pot (Ghat). He will use the Ganga Mitti as the base, surround it with the four Teer Kathi (bamboo arrows), wrap it with the White Moli / Raksha Sutra, and fill it with the Pancha Ratna and Pancha Sashya. The Chandmala and Gamcha will be beautifully adorned over the pot.
  • Step 3 (Madhuparka & Tambula): Following the 16-step royal sequence, the priest will mix Honey and Ghee in the provided Madhu Parker Bati to offer to the Lord. Following the food offering, the complete Tambula (Supari, Clove, Cardamom, Haritaki) is offered.
  • Step 4 (The Factory Homa): Using the Bel Kath and Joggo Dumur Pata, the priest will ignite the sacred fire. You will offer Cow Ghee and Havan Samagri to ensure absolute architectural and occupational safety.
  • Step 5 (Grand Aarti): The ritual concludes with a majestic, property-clearing smoke ceremony using the Chhobra, Dhuna, and Guggal. The priest will fan the Lord with the Chawar to complete the royal honours.
  • Occupational Safety: Creates a spiritual shield (Raksha Kavach) over the factory floor, significantly reducing the risk of machinery accidents.
  • Increases Efficiency: Blesses the tools and instruments to work flawlessly, preventing sudden breakdowns and loss of commercial production.
  • Business Prosperity: Honoring the Divine Architect naturally attracts massive architectural, engineering, and commercial success to the enterprise.

The MySanatan Viswakarma Puja Kit is an industrial powerhouse. We have meticulously included authentic, hard-to-find Eastern sacraments—such as genuine Ganga Mitti, bamboo Teer Kathi, and Pancha Guri—ensuring that factory owners and commercial business leaders can establish a flawlessly authentic Ghot (Holy Pot) under the strict guidance of a qualified Pandit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. I don't have a priest. Can I perform this puja myself using this kit?

Yes, absolutely. This is a dual-purpose kit designed for both simple and elaborate rituals. If you are doing a self-guided puja in a small garage, home office, or shop, you can perform a heartfelt 5-step ritual. You will primarily use the cleansing items (Ganga Jal), adornments (Chandan, Sindur, Moli), and offering items (Akshat Rice, Agarbatti, and Camphor) to bless your workspace.

Q2. Where exactly should I place my tools, laptop, or machinery during the ritual?

Before the puja begins, thoroughly clean all your equipment. Portable tools, laptops, or instruments should be placed directly on or next to the Puja Place in front of Lord Viswakarma’s picture. For heavy, immovable machinery, you can worship them right where they stand by sprinkling Ganga Jal and applying Tilak directly onto them.

Q3. Why are there heavy woods and fire samagri in the kit if I'm not doing a Havan?

We included them so the kit remains complete for everyone. If you are performing a simple, self-guided puja, you can safely set aside the Bel Kath (Bael wood), Joggo Dumur Pata (Audumbar leaves), and Havan Samagri. These are specifically intended for large-scale factory setups where a priest is hired to execute a grand fire sacrifice.

Q4. Is there a specific direction or side where I should place the lighted Diya?

Yes. According to sacred texts like the Purohit Darpan, the lighted lamp (Diya) must always be placed on the right side of the deity during the worship.

Q5. What is the immediate spiritual benefit of doing this puja for my everyday work?

Beyond tradition, the ritual acts as a Raksha Kavach (spiritual shield). It invites divine energy to ensure occupational safety, drastically reduces the risk of workplace or machinery accidents, and prevents sudden mechanical breakdowns, helping your business run smoothly.

Q6. What is the significance of the Teer Kathi and Ganga Mitti included in the kit?

These are authentic Eastern Indian (Bengali/Oriya) ritual essentials used for Ghot Sthapana (establishing the Holy Pot). The Ganga Mitti (Sacred Ganga Clay) forms the purifying foundational base. The four Teer Kathi (bamboo arrows) are fixed into the clay around the four corners of the pot and bound with sacred thread to seal a protected, divine boundary that holds the invoked deity’s energy.

Q7. How should the Madhu Parker Bati be utilized during the 16-step worship?

In the traditional Shodashopachar (16-step) royal worship, the 6th step dictates the offering of Madhuparka—a highly sacred blend of pure honey and cow ghee. The provided large bowl (Bati) is specifically included so the priest can mix and present this royal nectar flawlessly to Lord Viswakarma.

Q8. How do the Pancha Guri and Pancha Rang factor into the setup?

The Pancha Guri (Five Sacred Powders) and Pancha Rang (Five Colours) are vital for advanced elemental purifications (Bhuta-shuddhi) and for drawing the sacred mandala or alpana designs upon which the Puja Place and the Ghot are seated. They ensure the ritual ground is strictly aligned with cosmic geometries.

Q9. What role do the Chhobra, Dhuna, and Guggal play at the end of the ritual?

These items are saved for the grand finale of the puja. They are used to create a heavy, intensely fragrant, and property-clearing smoke ceremony. The Chawar (traditional fan) included in the kit is then used to fan this sacred smoke across the deity and throughout the factory floor to drive out negative energies and complete the royal honors.

Q10. Why are there two distinct types of Chandmala in the kit?

We have provided two sizes to meet distinct ritual requirements: the smaller Chandmala is specifically meant to adorn the Ghot (Holy Pot), draping beautifully over the Gamcha, while the larger Chandmala is designed as a hanging deity adornment to elevate the background aesthetics of Lord Viswakarma's main idol or frame.
