Frequently Asked Questions
- Q1. Why does this kit contain so much wood (Bel Kath) and Ghee?
- Unlike basic daily pujas, the Maha Mrityunjaya ritual achieves its maximum life-saving power when performed as a Homa (Vedic fire sacrifice). We have provided a full kilogram of authentic Bel Wood, Havan Samagri, and 250g of Cow Ghee so your Pandit can conduct a roaring, powerful fire ritual without running out of supplies!
- Q2. What are the Yellow Mustard Seeds and Kusha Grass used for?
- These are highly traditional Tantric and Vedic tools. Experienced priests scatter the Yellow Mustard Seeds to cast out negative entities and use the Kusha Grass to sprinkle purifying water, creating a completely sterile, highly protected spiritual barrier around the patient and the Puja Place.
- Q3. Can I perform the Havan (fire ritual) by myself without a Pandit?
- While you can absolutely use the 5-step method (4.a) for simple daily chanting by yourself, conducting a formal Havan with specific woods and Ahutis (offerings) requires the strict pronunciation, timing, and energetic discipline of a highly trained Pandit.
- Q4. Are Tulsi leaves allowed during this Puja?
- No! According to strict scriptural rules, Tulsi leaves and Ketaki flowers must NEVER be offered to Lord Shiva. Instead, devotees should arrange for fresh Bel Patra (Bilva leaves) to pair perfectly with this kit.
