Radhey Krishna Puja Kit

Radhey Krishna Puja is performed to seek the blessings of Radha Krishna for love, devotion, peace, and spiritual growth. It removes negativity and brings happiness, harmony, prosperity, and divine grace into life.

  • Radha and Krishna represent the ultimate, blissful union of the individual soul with the Supreme Divine. Worshipping them at home—especially caring for the child form, Laddu Gopal—fills the household with profound unconditional love (Bhakti), joy, and spiritual protection. The Vedic NityaKarma reminds us that daily worship deeply strengthens the family; while water purifies the physical body, truth purifies the mind, and knowledge purifies the intellect.

  • This beautiful, joy-filled worship can be performed:
  • • As a grand celebration on Krishna Janmashtami (Lord Krishna's birthday) or Radhashtami
  • • During the vibrant festival of Holi or the auspicious month of Kartik
  • • As a Daily (Nitya) Household Puja, especially for families who lovingly care for Laddu Gopal every single day.

  • Step 1 - Gandha (Sacred Paste): Lovingly adorn the deity with the fragrant Chandan and Kumkum while chanting the mantra: "Om Gandhang Namah".
  • Step 2 - Pushpa (Flowers): Offer fresh flowers and sacred leaves/seeds at the deity's feet while chanting: "Om Pushpang Baushat".
  • Step 3 - Dhupa (Incense): Light the Agarbatti and wave the fragrant smoke to purify the air while chanting: "Om Dhupang Namah".
  • Step 4 - Deepa (Illumination): Light your ghee or mustard oil lamps to dispel darkness while chanting: "Om Deepang Namah".
  • Step 5 - Naivedya (Food Offering): Offer sweet food, fruits, and honey as a gesture of deep devotion while chanting: "Om Naivedyang Nivedayami"

  • Steps 1 & 2 (Asan & Swagat): Offering the beautiful Yellow Asan and welcoming the Divine Couple.
  • Steps 3, 4 & 5 (Padya, Arghya, Achamaniya): Purifying the deity's feet and hands, and offering sipping water using the Ganga Jal.
  • Step 6 (Madhuparka): Offering the auspicious honey-mixture to sweeten Their arrival.
  • Steps 7, 8 & 9 (Snaniya, Basan, Abharan): Bathing the deities with Rose Water, dressing Them in the Yellow and Red Shalu Cloth, and adorning Laddu Gopal with his specific royal ornaments (Abharan): the Moti Haar (Pearl Necklace), the beloved Mayur Pankh (Peacock Feather), and applying the Chandan Attar.
  • Steps 10, 11 & 12 (Gandha, Pushpa, Dhupa): Offering the Ashtagandha Chandan, the Kamal Gatta, and lighting the Agarbatti.
  • Steps 13, 14 & 15 (Deepa, Naivedya, Achamaniya): Illuminating the space with lamps, offering a grand feast, and providing water to cleanse the mouth.
  • Step 16 (The Complete Tambula): There is absolutely no 16-step puja where Tambula is not mandatory. The mathematically perfect Tambula (Supari, Clove, Cardamom, Haritaki) must be offered to sweeten the deity's mouth as the 16th and final step.

  • Conclusion (Household Aarti): The ceremony concludes with a highly fragrant Aarti using the Metal ChawarPure CamphorGuggal, and Dhuna, showering love and bliss upon the entire family!

  • • Cultivates Unconditional Love & Harmony: Worshipping Radhey Krishna naturally dissolves household tensions, replacing them with joy, laughter, and mutual affection.
  • • Spiritual and Emotional Comfort: Caring for Laddu Gopal at home provides a profound sense of companionship and divine protection, reducing anxiety and stress.
  • • Cooling Physical Benefits: The application of the White Chandan (Sandalwood) and Ashtagandha to the foreheads of family members as a Tika has immense calming properties; Ayurvedic texts confirm Sandalwood actively reduces body heat and relieves stress.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Q1: Why does this kit include items like the Mayur Pankh (Peacock Feather) and Moti Haar (Pearl Necklace), and when do we use them?
  • For Beginners & Families: Caring for Lord Krishna, especially in His child form (Laddu Gopal), involves a deeply personal and loving relationship rather than just a formal fire ritual! If you are performing the 16-step royal worship (Shodashopachar), the 9th step is called Abharan, which means offering divine ornaments. This is the beautiful moment in the ceremony where you get to lovingly dress the Lord in His bright clothes and adorn Him with the Moti Haar and His favorite Mayur Pankh!
  • Q2: Are there specific mantras we should use for purification before starting our Krishna Puja?
  • For Experienced Devotees: Yes! Before commencing any sacred rite, a devotee must perform Achaman (sipping water for internal purification). According to classical traditions, Vaishnava devotees use the sacred water to sip three times from the palm of the right hand while reciting the specific holy names: "Om Acyutāya namaḥ, Oṃ Anantāya namaḥ, Oṃ Govindāya namaḥ". Using the Ganga Jal provided in the kit to perform this specific Achaman perfectly sets the spiritual stage for worshipping Radhey Krishna!
  • Q3: How should we approach preparing the food (Naivedya) for Laddu Gopal in our home kitchen?
  • For Householders & Parents: When you are cooking for the Lord, the kitchen becomes a sacred space. The Apastamba Grhya Sutra explicitly states a beautiful rule for the householder: "One shall not have sweets prepared for his own sake". This means that whatever delicious vegetarian food or sweets you prepare in the house must first be offered entirely to the Lord during the 14th step (Naivedya) of your puja. Only after He has accepted it does it become Prasad (a sacramental, blessed meal) for the family to joyously share!
  • Q4: The kit includes Kamal Gatta (Dried Lotus Seeds). Why are these specific seeds used?
  • For Cultural Enthusiasts & Scholars: The lotus is profoundly sacred to both Lord Krishna (who is lovingly called Kamalnayan, or lotus-eyed) and Goddess Radha (the incarnation of Lakshmi, who is seated on a lotus). While regular pujas might just use standard flowers, offering the deeply auspicious Kamal Gatta at the Lord's feet during the Pushpa (flower) stage of the worship is a highly specific, traditional way to invoke pure devotion (Bhakti) and spiritual wealth into your household.
  • Q5: The kit includes "Chhobra" (Dry Coconut Husk) along with Dhuna and Guggal. What are these for, and how do we use them?
  • For Beginners & Household Purifiers: If you have never used natural resins at home before, this is going to beautifully transform your puja experience! While the Pure Camphor is used to create the bright flame for the main Aarti, the Chhobra (coconut coir) is used to easily create a bed of hot, glowing embers in a fire-safe bowl or Dhunachi. Once the coir is glowing red, you sprinkle the Dhuna and Guggal powders directly over it. As highlighted in the Vedic NityaKarma, offering these specific fragrant substances into the fire actively purifies the home's physical atmosphere, clears away negative energies, and creates an immensely calming, temple-like fragrance right in your living room for Laddu Gopal!
