Lakshmi Narayan Puja is performed to invite divine blessings for wealth, prosperity, and spiritual well-being. It removes obstacles and negative energies, brings peace and harmony to the family, and blesses devotees with success, happiness, and abundance in all aspects of life.

  • Worshipping Lord Narayan alongside Goddess Lakshmi brings the ultimate cosmic balance of spiritual preservation and material abundance into the home. It sweeps away anxieties, protects the family from negativity, and invites unshakeable prosperity. What makes this specific kit exceptional is its dual nature: it honors the radiant, joyous energy of the Goddess with a complete set of Shringar (adornments), while strictly adhering to classical eastern scriptures by including the Teer Kathi (boundary sticks) and Pancha Guri (Five Powders) to establish the sacred Ghat (pot) with the exact purifying elements mandated by ancient manuals!

  • Lakshmi Narayan Puja is performed to invite absolute domestic harmony, financial stability, and spiritual elevation. It is highly versatile and suitable for grand milestones or regular devotion.
  • • Daily or regular household worship to maintain a home free of obstacles and financial stress
  • • On the highly auspicious Purnima (Full Moon) days, such as Kojagari Purnima
  • • Every Thursday (dedicated to Lord Vishnu) or Friday (dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi)

  • • Before inaugurating a new home (Griha Pravesh), office, or starting a business venture
  • • On wedding anniversaries to seek the divine couple's blessings for unbreakable marital bliss

  • Step 1 - Gandha (Sacred Paste): Lovingly apply the White Chandan, Red Chandan, Sindur, and Rose Attar to the deities while chanting: "Om Gandhang Namah".
  • Step 2 - Pushpa (Flowers & Adornments): Seat the deities on their respective Red and White Asans. Offer flowers, the Moli threads, and lovingly present the beautiful Shringar items (Bindi, Bangles, Mehendi, etc.) to Goddess Lakshmi while chanting: "Om Pushpang Baushat".

  • Step 4 - Deepa (Illumination): Light your lamps using the Cotton Wicks and Cow Ghee/Mustard Oil to guide the divine light into your home while chanting: "Om Deepang Namah".
  • Step 5 - Naivedya (Food Offering): Offer home-cooked sweets, Honey, and the Pancha Sashya (Sacred Grains) as a gesture of deep gratitude while chanting: "Om Naivedyang Nivedayami".

  • Steps 1-5 (Welcome & Boundaries): The Pandit purifies the home using the Ganga Jal and Gau Mutra. He establishes the sacred Ghat using the Teer Kathi and Pancha Guri. He formally offers a Seat (Asan), Welcome, water for feet (Padya), an offering (Arghya), and water for sipping (Achamaniya).
  • Steps 6-9 (Madhuparka, Bath & Royal Adornment): He must offer the 6th-step sweet mixture (Madhuparka) using the Pure Honey. The deities are bathed, draped in the Yellow Puja Cloth, and majestically adorned (Abharan) with the Shringar items and Pancha Ratna.

  • Step 16 (The Complete Tambula): According to the strict rules of the texts, a 16-step royal worship is absolutely invalid without Tambula. The Pandit concludes the offerings by presenting the scripturally mandated Supari, Haritaki, Clove, and Cardamom to sweeten the deities' mouths.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Q1: Why does this kit include makeup and Shringar items like Lipstick, Nail Polish, and Bangles?
  • For Devotees: Goddess Lakshmi represents absolute beauty, auspiciousness, and marital joy! Unlike the ascetic Lord Shiva who loves ashes, the Goddess of Wealth loves vibrant adornments. Offering her complete Shringar is a beautiful devotional practice to honor her radiant energy and invite her joyous abundance into your home!
  • Q2: What is the purpose of the "Teer Kathi" and "Pancha Guri" included in this kit?
  • For Cultural Enthusiasts: These are highly authentic, classical elements for purification and altar setup! According to the Purohit Darpan, Teer Kathi refers to the small bamboo arrows/sticks planted around the sacred Ghat (pot) to establish a divine boundary. Pancha Guri refers to the five sacred colored powders used to beautifully draw the divine Mandala (geometric design) upon which the deities are established!
  • Q3: We have a Shaligram stone (representing Vishnu) in our home altar. Can we worship it alongside the Lakshmi idol?
  • For Families: Yes, absolutely! While classical texts like the Purohit Darpan contain strict rules warning that worshipping two of the exact same idols (like two Shaligrams or two Shivas) simultaneously brings anxiety to the household, worshipping the Lord alongside his divine consort, Goddess Lakshmi, is the most perfect and harmonious pairing in Sanatan Dharma!
  • Q4: Is it scripturally acceptable for me to perform the 5-step puja myself without a priest?
  • For Beginners: You absolutely have the right to perform the core worship yourself! The classical Vedic NityaKarma text emphatically shatters the misconception that only priests can worship. It declares that the right to perform worship and connect with God belongs to everyone, in order to attain salvation. While a Pandit is required for complex, 16-step ceremonies, the simple 5-step devotion (Panchopachar) is perfectly acceptable and beloved by the divine couple!
  • Q5: The kit highlights specific spices like Betel Nut, Haritaki, Clove, and Cardamom for 'Tambula'. Why is this called out for the 16-step puja?
  • For Dedicated Devotees: Because it is scripturally non-negotiable! The classical texts dictate that there is no 16-step (Shodashopachar) puja where Tambula is not mandatory. As the exact 16th and final required offering, Tambula is presented to sweeten the deity's mouth after the grand feast. Without these specific spices, a grand royal worship led by a Pandit is technically incomplete!
