Lakshmi Ganesh Puja Kit

Lakshmi Ganesh Puja is performed to seek the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha for wealth, prosperity, wisdom, and success. It removes obstacles and brings happiness, abundance, good fortune, and harmony into life.

  • Worshipping Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi together is the ultimate spiritual formula for balanced, unhindered success. Lord Ganesh is invoked first to clear away all physical, financial, and spiritual obstacles, paving a smooth path. Once the path is clear, Goddess Lakshmi is invited to fill the home with sovereign wealth, prosperity, and joy. The inclusion of the magnificent Lakshmi Ganesh Silver Coin and the Pancha Ratna (Five Jewels) acts as a permanent, physical anchor to keep this divine abundance flowing continuously into your household!

  • This highly versatile and auspicious worship is essential during major wealth festivals like Diwali or Akshay Tritiya. It is also the perfect, scripturally backed ceremony to perform whenever a family is moving into a new home (Griha Pravesh), opening a new business, starting a new financial ledger, or seeking to clear major debts and invite fresh prosperity.

  • Step 1 - Gandha (Sacred Paste): Lovingly apply the Red/White Chandan, Kumkum, and Sindur to Lord Ganesh, Goddess Lakshmi, and the Silver Coin while chanting: "Om Gandhang Namah".
  • Step 2 - Pushpa (Flowers, Sringar & Wealth): Offer fresh flowers, the Akshat Rice, the Pancha Ratna, and the complete Sringar (Cosmetic) Set at their lotus feet while chanting: “Om Pushpang Baushat”
  • Step 3 - Dhupa (Incense): Light the Agarbatti, and burn the powerful Dhuna and Guggal powder over the Chhobra to completely clear the home of negative energy while chanting: "Om Dhupang Namah".
  • Step 4 - Deepa (Illumination): Light your lamps using the Cotton Wicks and Cow Ghee to guide the deities into your home while chanting: "Om Deepang Namah".
  • Step 5 - Naivedya (Food Offering): Offer home-cooked sweet foods and the Pancha Sashya (grains) as a gesture of deep gratitude while chanting: "Om Naivedyang Nivedayami".

Steps 1-5 (Welcome & Purification): The Pandit purifies the home using the Ganga Jal and Kusha Grass. He establishes the sacred space on the Red Asan and formally offers a Seat (Asan), Welcome (Swagat), water for washing feet (Padya), a sacred offering (Arghya), and water for sipping (Achamaniya).

Steps 6-9 (Madhuparka & Royal Adornment): Crucially, the priest must offer the 6th-step sweet mixture (Madhuparka) using your included Pure Honey. The deities are then bathed (Snaniya), draped in the Red Shalu Cloth (Basan), and Goddess Lakshmi is adorned with the spectacular Bangles, Kajal, and full Sringar set (Abharan).

Steps 10-15 (The Grand Wealth Offerings): The deities are offered rich fragrances (Rose Attar / Gandha), flowers (Pushpa), and a grand shrine is built at their feet using the Silver Coin, Pancha Ratna, and Akshat. They are then offered purifying incense (Dhupa), glowing ghee lamps (Deepa), and a grand food offering (Naivedya).

Step 16 (The Complete Tambula): According to the strict rules of the Purohit Darpan, there is absolutely no 16-step royal worship where Tambula is not mandatory. The Pandit concludes the offerings by presenting the scripturally mandated Supari, Haritaki, Clove, and Cardamom to sweeten the deities' mouths.

Conclusion (Aarti & Havan): The ceremony concludes with a grand Aarti using the Pure Camphor and the royal Chawarfan. Finally, a massive fire ritual (Agnihotra) is performed using the Bel Kath, Joggo Dumur Pata, and Havan Samagri to permanently seal the infinite wealth into the home!

  • Unhindered Financial Growth: By worshipping Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi together with the Silver Coin, you eliminate unseen obstacles blocking your career or business, allowing cash flow to multiply.
  • Spiritual Fumigation: The intense, purifying smoke of the authentic Dhuna and Guggul acts as an ancient spiritual cleanser that drives out unseen obstacles and stagnation from your physical surroundings.
  • Aura of Protection: Tying the energized Red and Yellow Moli Dhagas (Raksha Sutras) around the wrists of your family members creates a protective shield, keeping negative influences and ill-wishers at bay.

  • The MySanatan Lakshmi Ganesh Puja Kit is a breathtakingly complete package designed to invite harmonious wealth and absolute success into your life! Frequently Asked Questions
  • Q1: I am setting up the Lakshmi Ganesh altar in my new home or office. In which direction should my family sit while performing the puja and lighting the fire?
  • For Beginners & Families: According to the strict rules of sacred geometry in the Vedic NityaKarma, the householder (Yajaman) must sit on the west side of the sacred fire and face the East (Purvabhimukh). However, the classical Purohit Darpan adds a fascinating exception for evening rituals: if you are performing your worship specifically at night (such as during Diwali), you should sit facing the North!
  • Q2: Since we are primarily seeking wealth and financial growth, why do we always invoke Lord Ganesh before Goddess Lakshmi?
  • For Home Ritualists: Spiritual sequence is absolutely crucial for success! Before the Goddess of Wealth can enter your home or business, the metaphysical path must be completely clear of negative energy and hurdles. Traditional manuals strictly mandate invoking Lord Ganesha first, as he is universally revered as the "remover of obstacles". Once he clears the path, Goddess Lakshmi's immense prosperity can flow into your household without any blockages!
  • Q3: I am using the Havan Samagri and Cow Ghee from the kit. Exactly how much should I offer into the fire with each chant of "Svaha"?
  • For Experienced Householders: Vedic fire rituals are a precise science of measurements! The Vedic NityaKarma strictly defines the exact size of an oblation (Ahuti). It states that the minimum quantity of ghee or fragrant ingredients offered into the fire at one time must be at least 6 Mashas (a traditional unit of weight). Furthermore, the maximum amount for a single offering should not exceed one Chhatank. Offering too little or too much disrupts the balance of the sacred flame!
  • Q4: The kit includes a bundle of Kusha (Darbha) Grass. When I use it to sprinkle the holy Ganga Jal over the altar, which fingers should I use?
  • For Priests & Ritualists: You must be highly specific with your hand gestures (Mudras), and you should never use your index finger! According to classical manuals like the Dash Karma Paddhati, when holding the sacred Kusha grass (acting as a Pavitra or purifier) to sprinkle holy water from your vessel, you must strictly hold the grass using only your thumb and ring finger (Anamika and Angushtha). This specific grip ensures the absolute purity of the water being offered.
  • Q5: Our family wants to finish the Havan with a grand finale. How exactly should the final "Purnahuti" (Complete Offering) be performed?
  • For Scholars & Devotees: The Purnahuti is the absolute pinnacle of your sacrifice! According to the Vedic NityaKarma, you do not just recite the final mantra once. The officiant or householder must recite the profound Purnahuti mantra exactly three times while making three final oblations into the fire. This powerful triple repetition is specifically designed to seal the physical, spiritual, and social success of your worship, ensuring your new beginnings are absolutely flawless!
