Khatu Shayam Puja Kit

Khatu Shyam Puja is performed to seek the blessings of Shyam Baba for success, prosperity, and fulfillment of wishes. It removes obstacles and negative energies and brings happiness, peace, good fortune, and divine grace into life.

Khatu Shyam Baba is universally revered as the Supreme Deity of Kali Yuga ("कलयुग के प्रधान देव"). According to the ancient scriptures, specifically detailed by Lord Veda Vyasa in the Kaumarika Khanda of the Skanda Purana, He is the divine Morvinandan (son of Maurvi). His ultimate vow is "मम सेव्यम् पराजित:" (Mam Sevyam Parajitah)—meaning "I serve the defeated". Devotees perform this puja to seek His unshakeable support when they feel hopeless, defeated by life's circumstances, or overwhelmed by obstacles.

Worship of Shyam Baba brings immense joy and miracles at any time, but is particularly powerful:
• On the 11th and 12th days of the lunar fortnight (Ekadashi and Dwadashi).
• During grand evening Kirtans and Jagrans.
• During the famous Phalguna Mela.
• Whenever a devotee feels defeated and needs the ultimate "Haare Ka Sahara" (Savior of the Defeated).

Classical texts empower all householders to perform daily worship simply and beautifully to protect their dharma.
Step 1: Place Shyam Baba's picture on the Velvet Asan. Prepare a diya with Cow Ghee and place it on His right side. Light the Agarbatti.
Step 2 (Shringar): Cleanse the space with Ganga Jal. Adorn Baba beautifully using the Yellow Puja Cloth, Roli, Chandan, and Rose Water. Apply the Attar to His garments.
Step 3: Offer Him a sweet meal (such as Peda or Kheer) along with a fresh Tulsi leaf. (Note: You do not need to use the heavy Tambula spices for this simple daily love-worship).
Step 4 (The Grand Smoke): Light a piece of the Chhobra (Coconut Husk) in a fire-safe vessel. Once it embers, sprinkle the Dhuna and Guggal to create thick, fragrant temple smoke.
Step 5: Light the Camphor and perform a joyous Aarti while singing the Shyam Chalisa

This kit contains the exact sacraments required for a priest to perform a high-level Vedic reception.
Step 1: The priest will initiate the ritual with advanced breath control (Pranayama) and elemental purification (Bhuta-shuddhi) to completely cleanse the physical and spiritual environment.
Step 2: The priest will perform Nyasa, installing divine energies into the body using Sanskrit syllables.
Step 3: Assist the priest in bathing and royally adorning Shyam Baba (Shringar) using the Yellow Cloth, Attar, Rose Water, and Ganga Jal.

Step 6: The ritual concludes with a magnificent Aarti using the Cow Ghee, Camphor, and the heavy purifying smoke of the Dhuna and Guggal.
